Callie Cole Dodson is an associate with Barnett Howard & Williams, practicing exclusively Family Law in the Fort Worth office. Joining the firm in 2023, Ms. Dodson brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in family law, focusing on handling divorce, child custody, modification of child custody, child support, contested terminations and adoptions, protective orders, and any other facet of family law cases. Representing clients in Tarrant, Dallas, Parker, and Johnson counties, Ms. Dodson is proud to be known for her integrity, honesty, and preparedness in the courtroom. Ms. Dodson draws on her background in psychology to inform her cases, and is honored to fight for and protect her clients and their families, either through contested litigation, mediation, or settlement agreements. With a background in legal writing and handling appeals, Ms. Dodson is able to evaluate each case from multiple perspectives and strives to put her heart into each case, making her both a respected and proficient litigator.

Callie Dodson is a graduate of Texas A&M School of Law, attending law school with the sole goal of practicing family law. Since graduating, she has practiced family law exclusively, and is proud of her excellent reputation among judges, court staff, and fellow attorneys in the Tarrant County Family Law Center. Since her first year of practice, Ms. Dodson has been recognized as a Top Attorney by Fort Worth Magazine, and has been named a Super Lawyer – Rising Star by Texas Monthly since 2021. Despite her professional accolades, Ms. Dodson is most proud of her ability to be personable and handle difficult situations with grace. An avid litigator who loves to be in the courtroom, Ms. Dodson seeks to tailor her approach with each case in order to obtain the best possible result for her clients. She strives to always continue learning, and has been invited as a speaker to share her knowledge focusing on protective orders with other Texas attorneys.

Ms. Dodson was born and raised in Texas, and is proud to come from four generations of Texas police officers. A first generation college graduate, Ms. Dodson grew up instilled with the hard work and sacrifice modeled by her mother and father, who both worked around the clock to demonstrate the importance of service to one’s community. Ms. Dodson is guided by her relationship with God, and is proud to have established herself with her new fiancé in Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time outside with her dog.
