What are the Visiting Hours and Visitation Rules at the Hurst City Jail?

While the Hurst City Jail is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the visiting hours at the Jail are limited:

  • Visitation hours are Monday – Friday  from 5pm – 6pm;
  • Visitation is limited to 10 minutes and no more than 2 visitors;
  • Visitors must be at least 18 years old and bring a valid driver’s license or identification;
  • Visitors must be dressed appropriately and not have any active warrants.

Can an Inmate Make a Telephone Call?

According to the Hurst Holding Facility website, prisoners are allowed to place limited free telephone calls once the booking process has been completed. A prisoner also has the opportunity to make collect phone calls from inside a cellblock.

Where can I pick up someone that was released from the Hurst City Holding Facility?

Inmates are released in the Holding Facility lobby on the south side of the Hurst Police Department located at 825 Thousand Oaks Dr.
