BRANDON W. BARNETT
Mr. Barnett is a criminal defense lawyer and founding partner of Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC. Prior to joining forces with other Fort Worth criminal attorneys, he served for six years as an active-duty U.S. Marine judge advocate. As a Marine, he served as a criminal trial lawyer, handling a broad range of cases involving assault, drug offenses, fraud, larceny, possession of child pornography, sexual assault, rape, and more. Mr. Barnett faithfully served his country and was deployed to Iraq where he served with the Third Marine Aircraft Wing as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate. Mr. Barnett is now exclusively focused on representing individuals in the Fort Worth and surrounding areas in criminal cases. JASON H. HOWARD
Jason Howard is a criminal defense attorney in Fort Worth, Texas. Before founding Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC, Mr. Howard devoted more than five years as a felony chief prosecutor in the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Howard was involved in every facet of Texas criminal law, but his primary role was as a trial attorney. Mr. Howard has the knowledge and experience to expertly present a criminal case to a Texas jury. He devotes 100% of his practice to Texas criminal law and has achieved noteworthy success in defending criminal cases in Tarrant County. Mr. Howard goes the extra mile to help his clients and has earned a reputation among other Fort Worth criminal attorneys as a hard worker and prepared advocate.
LUKE A. WILLIAMS
Mr. Williams is a founding partner of Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC, a team of Fort Worth criminal attorneys. Mr. Williams devotes 100% of his practice to criminal defense cases in Fort Worth and Denton. Prior to starting the law firm, he served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office as well as an Assistant City Attorney with the City of Plano, Texas. Mr. Williams has tried a wide variety of criminal cases, ranging from a simple traffic tickets to Capital Murder and everything in between. Mr. Williams is a kind and compassionate advocate, who goes above and beyond to help his clients both inside and outside of the courtroom.
ASHLEY S. GILMORE
Ashley Gilmore is an associate attorney and criminal defense lawyer with Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC. Ashley came to BHW from the Tarrant County District Attorneys Office where she gained criminal trial experience as a felony and misdemeanor prosecutor. During her time as a prosecutor, Mrs. Gilmore tried a variety a criminal cases, including DWI, theft crimes, drug crimes, and assaultive offenses. Ashley has considerable experience with Tarrant County juries, spending several months as a grand jury attorney, presenting cases each week to a Tarrant County grand jury. Ashley’s familiarity with Tarrant County is a great asset for her clients.
